Halloween Singles Events 2026: Where to Go If You Are Single
Halloween is the single best night of the year to meet someone, and the reason has almost nothing to do with astrology. It is the one night everybody has a reason to talk to a stranger. You have a costume to comment on, a reason to be out, and a socially agreed excuse to be a slightly louder version of yourself. Try opening a conversation that easily in February.
Why Halloween Beats Every Other Night Out

Halloween breaks that open, because costumes are conversation starters that do the work for you. Nobody needs an opening line when somebody has arrived dressed as a traffic cone. Add a room where everybody is single and has come specifically to meet people, and the two hardest parts of the evening are solved before you walk in.
Where We Will Be, 29 and 30 October
We are running six Halloween singles parties this year. Edinburgh at Brewhemia goes first, on Thursday 29 October.
Then on Friday 30 October, the night before Halloween itself, there are five more: Glasgow at The Noble, Guildford at Five and Lime, Leamington Spa at Hart + Co, Newcastle at Harry's Bar and Southampton at Turtle Bay.

What the Night Actually Involves
Our party nights work differently to the regular singles evenings. They are all ages rather than age-banded, so you are not filtered into a bracket on the door. There are sixty places at each, split evenly, and they lean more party than structured. If the usual format has never quite appealed, this is the one to try.
Doors are at seven, icebreakers start at half past, and from half nine it is free mingling and the room is yours for the rest of the night. Dressing up is encouraged rather than required, and there is a prize for the best costume. Nobody will turn you away for arriving as yourself.
Coming On Your Own
Most people do, and it is genuinely the better way to arrive. Turning up with a friend is comfortable and comfortable is the enemy here, because you will talk to each other all night and go home having met nobody. The regular calendar keeps running right through October, and it is busy. London, Brighton, Birmingham and Cardiff all have full calendars, and the full city list has the rest.
Why Late October Is the Smart Time to Go
Halloween is where cuffing season actually begins, not November. The clocks change, the evenings disappear, and the whole calculation about whether to bother going out shifts overnight. Scorpio season starts on 23 October as well, which is the least casual month in the zodiac. Very little survives October unexamined.
The other argument is simpler. Everybody goes in January, when the apps flood and the events sell out and you are competing with everyone who made the same resolution on the same evening. October is the same intent with a fraction of the crowd, and the people you meet now are the ones who are still around at Christmas.
Sixty places each and six parties is not very many tickets, so book the one nearest you before it goes. Group tickets save you both 25%, so bring somebody if you would rather not arrive alone.
