In 2026 it falls in Cancer, the sign of home, family, memory and belonging. The Sun sits opposite in Capricorn, which rules work, duty, structure and what you have built. That axis is the most family-loaded pairing in the zodiac, and it is peaking on the one evening of the year when almost everybody is thinking about exactly those things.
